IT'S WORTH IT

Hey there friends

I am just sitting in my home office thinking and praying for some of you.   We are on the brink of another weekend and will have the privilege of sharing the most amazing, life-giving message the world has ever known!   Too cool.   I can't get over the fact that God has chosen to use the likes of any of us to do His work.   It is such a humbling honor to serve, love, teach and lead people that God created.   I am in constant wonder for all that God is doing.

This week I am teaching about prayer, God's will, and how surrender is the ultimate expression of obedience.

Friends, it is worth it.  NEVER QUIT, NEVER GROW WEARY, NEVER QUESTION YOUR CALLING.    We, collectively can't afford for one pastor to throw the towel in.

Read this verse and be encouraged:     "So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time."  Gal 6:9

I hope you can join us next Thursday for our leaders gathering.  We are going to talk about connecting people in meaningful relationships.    Also, I hope some of you can join us for the dinner on the 21st of October at the Heathman.   Dinner is free, space is limited and the food is good.

Take care

John
